I ordered one from whitestone and the protector and the components i received are looking like the new version in the video for the s9.
Unfortunately they sent me a used set with cracks on the protector, so i did have to sent it back (thank you amazon for no response or excuses).

Happy and Sad

Hi,
I want to share my experiences with the Whitestone glass S8 version. I'm pretty happy, it's the first protector that satifyed me. But it is not perfect.
Stept by step i followed the applying process and nevertheless my screen has got an area with bubbles. They did not appear at first, but occur over time. (After 2 weeks of use on a very sunny day)
The seller just offered me a replacement for 23 dollar. I just researched and figured out, that they use some UV-Adhesive simular to tp-2500f and the screen protector (with nothing on it) which i already have.
My plan is to remove the adhesive with some LOCA UV-Adhesive remover and use the glass protector again. Fortunately i have got the second left over adhesive cane.
I hope that this will work.

I've been a massive Whitestone Dome fan but just this weekend my phone hit the part that wasn't covered by the tempered glass. I thought I just had a minor crack there and the crack through the screen was just on the glass. Sadly not, I found the crack basically followed where the glass was right down to a straight crack on the side.

Despite this I still think it's the best of the tempered glass but I've got no confidence in it after this

For the price though I would expect a warranty if the protector cracks they'll send another. I always bought Zagg before the curved screens and they worked great and if I managed to crack it or anything I could just request another and they sent for a buck (to cover shipping) I would buy this in a heartbeat if they offered that same service.
I come from Zagg-patronage as well,pre-curves, and if they had a similar product that worked this well, then they would be getting my money. Hard to beat that no-questions-asked warranty.

So I've just ordered the whitestone dome glass and putted it on my, pretty disapointed , after only 48 hours, little bubbles and signs of glue on both sides. 40€ for only 48 hours is kind of expensive. I asked a warranty's one, I hope it'll get better :/

Use Body spray. Spray closesly to earpiece with pressure and wait 10 minutes. See results by calling helpline number. I did this. I feel that I got new earpiece installed.

you have to wipe the edges with the alcohol pads after the first cure to remove glue from tugging out the sides
Hi there!
I've read that also on other thread...
But what do you really mean with your statement???

I mean...isn't rubbing hard a risk?? Could the glass move as I push hard on its border for cleaning roughly??? As you say, doing that only after the first cure, the glue will not be harden enough, so it will be possible to come away...but it could not be enough also to keep the glass in place!! So how do I know how hard should I rub and push??

And also..really cleaning with alcohol pads?? No paper? No microfiber cloth???

Thank you!!!

Here is my 2bit review:

After starting to see scratches on my S8, I started researching and found this thread and looking at Whitestone Dome Glass, decided to buy it.

First screen arrived on March 25, 2018.
I followed the instructions like others here have and noticed that it was starting to peel up on the power button side with the Spigen Neo Hybrid case installed after a few days of use.
Used the second tube to try reattach it again and this time it took hold without any issues.

Then I dropped the phone.... on a geode... while trying out the new photo light box.... Thankfully, it landed on the tempered glass protector and did it's job marvelously.
I was able to get a replacement sent via warranty on July 19, 2018. I paid $10 USD for the warranty replacement kit, which came with everything.

This was the revised version since the install kit parts looks different from the original.
Installed just as good as the second time though and also bought one for GF's iPhone 8 (HHHIIIIISSSSSSS!!!!!)
Since then, I'm still rocking the replacement on the original tub for that and am about to pay for the replacement kit for GF's since she dropped hers and the glass again did it's job of saving the devices glass.

With all that said, I will agree that you can see where the protector is on the device, but I've gotten used to it and am glad it's done the job I've needed it for.

Is it any good for hiding existing cracks on the screen?
I'm thinking of buying one as a Glass replacement will cost me about 90$.

Can hide small scratches because of the glue, but not big cracks.
Hey buddy.
It won't, you should go with lcd glass replacement.

Whitestone isn't available in Pakistan, so i tried 4 other loca based screen protector but every single time, very unsatisfactory.
Lot of bubbles and glass start to peel off after a day.
But the cost for each glass unit is only 4$.
I've changed 3 glasses in last 4 days ? .

I've had a clone one on for over a month now, no bubbles, no lifting, absolutely perfect.

It's case friendly, i.e. stops just a little before the very edge, and is in a wallet style case.

I'm in no way affiliated with the seller, just happy with my purchase.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/201...Edge-S8-S9-Plus-Note8-Note-9/32953412145.html

I used a better UV light than the one that came with it, and did the 15 second initial cure, then removal of the excess glue, then the final cure trick.

Also, a friend has a S9 that had a large scratch on the screen that you could feel, after he put a Whitestone on it, you can't see it.
