If you didnt actually rip it I documented how to clean it and try again. I did it and it worked great. Xylen based auto adhesive remover and nitril gloves...Well i just attempted to install this and i have to say im pretty disappointed. I followed the directions to a T an when i poured the adhesive on the screen, placed in the screen an pulled the tab to drop the screen on the adhesive i immediately got several big bubbles. I gave it a couple of minutes to see if they would go away but they didnt so i attempted to push them out to the side which turned out to be a big mistake cause apparently adhesive leaked out the side an didnt realize it. I went on a did the first cure with the light an when i tried to remove the phone it was stuck. I ended up getting it out but adhesive was all over the back of the phone an down in the sides of my phone. Took forever to remove all of it an by the way the bubbles was still there. So i just ripped the screen off an put on a cheap one. I basically just wasted 50 bucks. Not sure what i did wrong cause i followed the directions an watched the video several times
I had no issues at all with seepage or adhesive in the bezels.. Flawlessly applied and one of the best protectors Ive ever had.. Ive had a few.Dear @Whitestone Dome Glass, Yesterday I received and installed the Whitestone Dome Glass on my Note 8. I followed the instructions to the letter. The surface was almost perfectly leveled (X=0.8 degrees, Y=0.2 degrees). Couldn't find more perfect surface in my home.
It took a little more for the adhesive to spread until the bottom end of the screen. When it finished I immediatelly did the first cure (15 secs on each side), then I removed the phone from the provided plastic frame and saw that there was a lot of spillage almost all around the phone. I wiped the adhesive with the provided wet cloth and the dry cloth as much as I could and made the second cure. However, after the second cure I was shocked to see that there was adhesive between the metal frame and the edges of the screen, which is very tiny gap. I tried to wipe it with the wet cloth but most of it remained and can be noticed. How do I remove it now? (There have been more than 12h passed - the adhesive is completely dried)
Should I use a thinner? alcohol? And how do I reach this tiny gap between the frame and the screen?
This is very disappointing, concerning the price tag. There should be some sort of protection for this situation, as I believe im not the only one that this has happened to.
Guyz if this has happened to you as well or if you have any ideas on how to remove the adhesive from this gap please advise, as I am very concerned that this has damaged the phone.
Thanks. Do you know how could I remove the adhesive from the bezels? Mine has the bezel light leak issue, so i guess thats why the glue found the tiny gap and stayed/dried in there. Phones that dont have the issue may not have this tiny gap so even if there might be any seepage you can completely clean it and make it like new.I had no issues at all with seepage or adhesive in the bezels.. Hey there! If @Whitestone Dome Glass would care to listen to feedback .. why oh why aren't the edges 2.5D or 3D curved ? I am hoping that its all something technical such that glue will leak etc and not just an oversight. I installed 5 of these till now for myself and friends and all of them edges are sharp. Period ! It has nothing to do with the method of installation, its just pure cost-saving measure from Whitestone. Sad.

Hello friend. Please read this thread. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/help/how-to-remove-glue-edges-frame-t3686044How is yours right now, bro?
Dear @Whitestone Dome Glass,
I think mine also leak into the small bezel and what worse, it's like moving underneath the glass which i just noticed.
The adhesive spill to the right side of my phone during installation and i did my cleaning after that.
After 1 week only I noticed that it seems like adhesive stucked underneath the edge of the screen (about 1.5cm) which is noticable under some angle of light condition.
Anyway or any guide to help me to clear or to uncure the adhesive?
Alcohol wipes is best I've found. How do u get out from the glue that spilled over to the edges of the glass after curing?

I removed the excess glue but know it seems some glue under the edge came with it? Anyway to fix this?
Alcohol wipes is best I've found.

The key is not to panic. I panicked the first time around. Second time was nerve wracking but saw enough video too know what to do.My Whitestone glass protector gets here today. After reading this thread it looks like I better summon the patience of a saint to install it properly. Wish me luck!
