I've done over 7 whitestone installations for various friends/family S7 edge, S8/S8+, and Note 8s. I've only really messed up the very first installation and the Note8 install is different than the S7/S8 one. The only tip I can give is to follow the directions and once you are on the first curing, ONLY cure it for the stated time of 15 seconds. If you go over the time you end up hardening the adhesive too much so when you start the first wiping process the adhesive will already start balling up from extra adhesive on the edges and pulling adhesive from under the edges of the glass. After the first 15 second curing, I always wipe the edges excessively with alcohol pads/cloth, like REALLY excessively. Wipe the sides gently like there is no tomorrow. You want to be absolutely sure there is no extra adhesive on the sides. Remember, the reason for this is after you start curing it again the adhesive hardens more and if you have any excessive glue still on the sides, when you wipe it will ball up and possibly pull out some of the adhesive from under the edges causing the bubbles under the edges you see in a lot of pictures.

Thanks everyone. Messed up the first gluing. The glass slid under the top frame. I had to wipe everything and start over. Second time was the charm. Prefect installation.
I jacked up the first installation weeks ago. I got a perfect install the seco nd time around. One tip to prevent glass from sliding under. Tape the bottom of the top to the bottom of the phone holder. I did this and it worked out great.

has anyone tried taking off the dome and applying on another device? I am switching from a black note 8 to a blue one and was wondering if i can take of the protector and re-apply it to the new one, instead of spending again on a new one.

I've taken off the dome before but not to reapply. This post by 92slammer, https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73934213&postcount=54, detailed his methods for removing the adhesive from the glass that should help you with reapplying. If it works well be sure to thank them.

I have to buy two of these because on first attempt some air bubbles was left even i tried to fix it but all in vein. I ordered ansecond time and tried again and faced the same issue. But on last attempt I was successful. The clarity and touch of glass is vood But there are issues:
1. Same as in first post, edges are sharp in a way that you will feel it. Dust on edges.
2. My second glass broke on second day without even hitting something. I put my phone in car and when i get out of car there were cracks on edges that spread all over the screen.
This glass is very weak on edges. I spend $120 on 2 glasses but all vein. I was more worried about the glass than my screen after spending that much money.
3. During installation the glue can come out and it can go to speaker holes. Be very careful.
4. Dust removing stickers were sticking to screen ( hard to remove after sticking) and leaving marks on screen.
Overall good glass sensitivity but really fragile on edges. Not very smooth in holding phone. Not easy to install.
I will not recommend this as it is expensive, time taking and no overall comfort.

I saw the adhesive didn't cover the top edges so I pushed them down while using the uv light to cure them. It got a perfect install but I now see a little bubble on the bottom right and when I look at emails it jumps the page down a bit every few seconds.. Really annoying. So it seems the glue cured in a weird way.. Also the adhesive got everywhere, it poured into the speaker ear grill, on the back and it has been taking forever to get it all off of the phone. Other than that its really nice. Still need to test the spen but I'm asking for a replacement glasses, welll two, as I bought two kits assuming something would get messed up and yup I screwed up one with my first try and this one had the issues I just mentioned. There should be two reinforced glass protectors in each box just like there are two adhesive bottles in each one. Will see what they say.
