It is a 3.0 kernel that's why I can't wait to get my hands on the device and start making kernels lol. Also the first 7inch tablet to have a tegra 3I haven't kept up on it much but they better have upgraded the tegra3 to a 3.0 kernel for jellybean because the transformer prime and the HTC one X have tegra3s and are still rocking a 2.6 kernel D:

I think you need to re-read what I posted.Your wrong, the One X, uses a 2.6.39.4 HTC have yet to release a 3

The One S and One V have a 3.0 kernel but not the One X.I read right, I was assuming because the EVO LTE is a varient of the one X, only major difference being one X has tegra 3 and EVO LTE has snapdragon s4, that they would be running similar kernels...

Yeah, I didn't use any one click roots because I wanted a nandroid backup of the unrooted rom... but this thing is a beast and I'm working on cm10 and probably will do some kernels for it.I already have one (I've had it for 2 days already) and I have to say, everyone that I used to chat with needs to get your happy asses onto the Nexus 7 bandwagon. This thing is flippin' great!
Overall it's running pretty good besides the latest video playback bug with the 4.1.1 ota. I'm hoping installing a custom aosp rom/kernel will take care of that though. How's it running?
