Why are (or aren't) you getting a Project Shield?

Tempted now, but still holding out, since already have an Excite 7.7, TF300, Nook HD+ (great with CM 10.1), iPad 4 and S4. The S4 has a fast chipset too, great 5" display, works great with Bluetooth controllers and HDMI, so will use that as a "Shield" for a while until I see how reliable the Shield is with users. I looked at the Ouya, but the lack of storage space for apps, proprietary market and the S4 blows it away for the same function means a "pass" for me.

Added: The Shield should be a great emulator device due to the Tegra 4. Hoping more MAME games play smooth on it. The gap now with a T4 tablet is greater since the Shield price drop, so more tempting.

The streaming quality is what sells it for me, although emulators would be fun to play with. Problem is, most of the games I want to play on an emulator are just as easily downloaded from Nintendo's eShop on the 3DS (Zelda). Yeah, sad, I know, I only want to play Zelda.

Overpriced and I own a vita and PSP already. Also it'll be a waste since I need to save for PS4 and mid range laptop.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

I pre-ordered one, but have since become fed up with the delay and no updates for a new shipping date. They also won't let me cancel my pre-order, and still no new ship date.
Message josh on the nvidia forum. Hes helped others who had problems cancelling.
