Why can't we have a feature like portrait mode with a flash??

Why can't we have a feature like portrait mode with a flash?? I mean, I have used this feature in one of the third party camera application and the results were just awesome. If this feature comes in as an in-built function in stock camera, then I'm pretty sure the benchmark of OP camera will be raised to new standards.

P.S : unable to open a development thread so opening a QA thread. Would be greatly appreciated if this is moved to development thread.

what third party app did u use ? why don't u keep using it if it works that well ?

As @ReyTheBoss said, if 3rd party app works, use it. I don't think flash would have such a big deal afterall but i kinda like your idea. I recommend you to take contact directly on Oneplus support

@ReyTheBoss I used Google pixel camera with portrait flash APK. It works very well , but if it comes as an in-built feature it will be available to everyone one and we can expect more added options with it.

@Vika__ there was a considerable ammount of difference when there was flash included in portrait mode. The results were quite surprising which is why I have posted here. I can keep using that app also, but the thing is I can expect more functionalities and options if it is an in-built feature.

More over I can brag about my op5 camera if it comes as an in-built function

i would say don't get your hopes up , oneplus can't even fix their camera hal for 3rd party support , so i don't think they're gonna do anything about their camera now , specially with op6 now available
keep using gcam , that's our best bet for now
and i'd say it's an even bigger bragging point , since it requires porting and flashing etc , which not anyone can have
