I would like to do it on my S2.
My rom is stock.Found a solution:
Root phone
Install Titanium Backup
Find a list of carrier-installed apps
Uninstall those apps with Titanium Backup.
Then I had no carrier-installed.
I think i understand the thread TY for post, but haven't found where anyone has answered the question how to change storage part. or swap it... Be awesome if my phone was all one partition like the pic. of my tab ...or would that be bad for my phone? Something i'm missing hereSigh. OK. For those of you that just refuse to search. Allow me to spoonfeed.
Your 16gb space is used by system, data, and sdcard
Its split in a way that the system resides in its own partition and data in its own so that when you wipe data/factory reset from recovery you don't wipe your sdcard.
You don't need more than 2gb partition for apps at this time. If an app needs more space it will utilize the sdcard to store extra data and the app will link itself where it needs to go.
I don't understand how this doesn't seem to sink in. Its not a complicated layout.
