Question Why is my Poco F4 GT lagging after only 10 minutes of playtime

I've been playing wild rift and realized that my F4 GT lags mid game lowering fps and reducing touch sensitivity,am I doing something wrong?,is there a setting or way of reducing this lag that doesn't sacrifice game visual settings? Does rooting help?

Currently I'm on MIUI Eu weekly

Check your thermals.. SD 8 Gen 1 performance throttles because of heating issues..
