Why my network keeps changing from 3g to 2g??

Why can't i keep a 3g only network ? i have this option in my Xperia z ... why can't i do that in my Moto .. its really frustrating ... i have 3g data pack and moments later i realize my network is on 2g n its eating my balance rather then my net pack .... frustrated :/

Select WCDMA only.

If you cannot reach it using the dialer, use an app to do it. e.g. shortcut master lite or something.

If it still doesn't work then make sure you sim is in slot 1.

It does but after a reboot it's again back to default setting. I use this method only buy it's frustrating . it was so easy on my previous phone
