Why the hate for Bixby?

Am I the only person who dosent use Google assistant? What does it do that's so special I have never used it on any of my phones

Do you ever check the card? Or does Google ever tell you your flight info, traffic info, package info? Or you actually using it.

i don't hate it. i just won't use it..ever...so i'll turn it off, and wait for root. then remap the button for other purpose.

and it seems to work only in english and korean right?
For german speaking users it will be available in Q4 2017....and for other languages probably even later. So the button is completely useless for them/us.

Why? Because Samsung is turning into apple. Forcing **** down our throats ... why is it so essential that it just has to be mapped to that damn button?

Never used any "assistant" on any phone. I find them useless and creepy

Samsung you have software developers with broken hands, stop making useless software, just f.....g make unlocked bootloader and root out of the box and google take care of software !!
Damn, it must be at least separate developers kind of version completely without crappy Samsung software !!
About Bixby, why the hell we need f...ing clone of existed useless google now !!

I don't know much about that app but the XDA article is from April 5th (15 days ago), in other words: before Samsung released the update to not allow apps to intercept the signal from the bixby button.

Some folks just don't like these things...Cortana, Siri, etc.
And having it taking up resources and a button that becomes a dummy.
I'd love to have the button to be mapped to anything.

Honestly I prefer the on screen shutter button. I've tried settings the volume buttons to take a picture but I always find it more stable to use the on screen buttons because it doesn't involve me pushing the phone.
