Although Android supports Wi-Fi Calling by default in Marshmallow, it appears that this phone does not support wi-fi calling. Was anyone able to configure wi-fi calling on this? Maybe the cost is less because it does not have UMA?

i recommend you look into there ---> https://www.asus.com/zentalk/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=216 (They display the issue of all asus suggestions,etc) Though Asus support is also a good start , since we can't do anything without root/bootloader.
