Wierd Restarting issue

The S2 sat on an xbox 360 while charging (with the case on) and now when I plug it in - the battery icon shows up and then shuts off and continues to do so.

The phone is rooted with cm 10.1 but I suspect that it's not the issue since it won't go past charging the battery.

My guess is that it may be screwed since the processor overheated or the battery just gave way and I need to buy another one...

I hope it's the latter - if you think it is, should I buy another battery? Or wire the battery to a charger and forcefully charge it?

Try getting a new battery first and just test it out, if it doesn't work I'm sure you would be able to get a refund
