Wifi frequency band option missing

Hi
Before i have htc m8 and and wifi frequency band option there but in my new mobile Htc U11 missing how i can switch between frequencey 2.4ghz and 5ghz my router support dual band any idea.

Not sure what you mean. I have two wifi connections, one 2.4 and one 5. My U11 sees both and I can simply switch back and forth in connections for Wi-Fi on the U11.

There used to be an option in wifi settings to only use one frequency or the other but this has since been removed from Android. I'm not sure why since I thought this was convenient feature.

I hate seeing two ssids lol so my wifi system combines them but now I can't tell my phone to only connect to one or the other. Luckily I can force it on my wifi system but still an inconvenience
