WiFi is gone

Was anything ever solved with this?

I just recently found my 2014 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, and it is having this same wifi issue... That's why I stopped using it in the first place...

The wifi issue was really bad at some time with CM and later Lineage. I still get it occasionally after hours of standby. The wifi connection is gone and won't auto connect. Sometimes APs are still visible, but you can't connect. Sometimes it won't even scan. I could not find a more convenient solution than a reboot to solve this.
But even my Acer tablet with stock rom is doing the exact same thing, but like the P605 in recent times not often enough to worry.
