Does anyone know how to remove the Wifi ongoing notification on the Verizon Samsung galaxy s5?

Maybe try Settings, Wi-fi, uncheck Show Wi-fi popup, then press 3 dots setting menu in upper right hand corner, choose Advanced, uncheck Wi-fi notifications

Thanks looked like that worked. I thought it would be some edit to a system file like the s3 and s4's
