Please use the Google Play version, if you can.

Usage from the app's gui:

• The app needs root access to read your saved wifi information.
• Tap a wifi entry to display its QR code.
• Hold a wifi entry to display more details.

Usage from the system wifi settings:

• The settings app needs root access to read your saved wifi information.
• Hold a wifi network, and choose an option from the menu that appears.

I am sorry, my bad . It has been a bad translation of the verb tense. I wanted to say which will be the smallest sdk where it could work because he say:

Backport to older android versions (I know third place in todo list)

I'm interested in KK and MM.

Currently, it is API26 (hence I cannot install it either), however the dev has expressed willingness to backport it to older versions in the near future.

And don't worry about it, I was about to source information from IzzyOnDroid's F-Droid repo when I had noticed the thread's title (I came here from the app's XDA Labs app page).

WPA evrywhere. No wep.

Ah - that probably solves the problem - I thought [OREO] meant Android 8 and down. I am on Android 7
Will hopefully get Oreo soon.
