why will the wifi tether app not accept a wifi encryption code? i wont connect with the wifi encryption code. Any ideas?

Which device profile do you have WiFi Tether set to? Also, this is maybe too obvious, but have you enabled Wifi-Encryption and specified a passphrase in settings?

Don't use encryption. Thats what i would try first. it does show whos connected. just make sure no extra devices pop up and if you must control it, try access control

Your not putting enough characters hence the red text. The red text will change when you have entered enough.
Correct, you need to have between 8-30 characters. Also, the app utilizes WPA/WPA2-PSK security. Make sure your other device is setup appropriately for this.
