Samsung Galaxy S20
Got my S23 ultra yesterday
Version : S918B/DS
The wifi connection is unstable: I have a wifi 6 5Ghz hot-spot and after a moment I have on my phone a "no internet" wifi shown in the parameters, with real no connection on the phone. My other phones and computers still having internet (the wifi Hotspot is working perfectly).
1st time it happens to me (old S20U and 21U never got this problem)

I have the same issue and manually setting dns didn't work.
It seems that the problem is only with wifi 6 beacause with others wifi networks (not 6) I haven't problems

Hey there,

I'm in France as well, and do have the exact same issue with Wifi 6. Sometimes it does works great, but is really, really inconsistent in the long run. Looks like clear software issue.
My previous S21 Ultra (Exynos) was rock solid with hyper fast speeds. New S23 Ultra does even worse than my cheap Xiaomi tablet.

Hope it's just for now and future updates will fix that.

Thanks for the AES tip. Did that. The response when in wifi 6 (not E) seems a little better but the speedtests are still a choppy in some ways. I Hope a firmware upgrade will fix that, as the S21 Ultra didnt suffer from it.

FYI everyone, I just got the Feburary software update but this issue with WiFi 6 networks and connectivity loss is still not fixed. WiFi 6E and WiFi 5 works fine, it's only WiFi 6 networks that are having issues.

What the hell is taking Samsung so long to fix it? They need to acknowledge it immediately. These reports are all over the Internet now on every forum, from Reddit to XDA to Samsung forum itself. This is clearly a driver issue that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
I am having the same issue with no internet connection even though I am connected to WIFI 6 5gHz.
If I cycle the wifi on and off it connects and works normally for some long amount of time.
I have a TP link AX6000 And did not have an issue with my Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Same boat.. coming from S22U Ultra and no issues with TP Link AX6000, but a few minutes with screen off, and the S23 Ultra loses connection. Really annoying

Hi, i seem to experience some WiFi trouble since last firmware.
I tried to connect to WiFi in the train the other day and it connected but said there was no internet. Normally once connected it should have opened a web page to input log in.
I did try this earlier with the original firmware version and it worked well back then.
Hope they fix it in next update.

Hi guys
All my home setup is all based on Ubiquiti equipment; router, switches and AP. Not using a router for WiFi - sucks. My AP supports WiFi5 and 6 and both are enabled. Never had any problems with either my S22 Ultra or now S23 Ultra, both connects to WiFi6 - 5 GHz and my older devices uses 2.4 GHz - WiFi 5.
On my S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra I've speeds around 900Mbit up/down. Upgraded my AP a month ago, was thinking about a WiFi 6e AP but dropped it...no need since my fiber i 1Gbit U/D. Both S22 and S23 connects to AP with 1200 Mbit, using WPA3 Personal.
Don't know if this is for any help, but I hope.
Regards DeHAWK.

I noticed I'm having an issue with WIFI 6E when watching videos on Facebook or Youtube, its aggravating. If I toggle wifi, it works again until I start watching videos again. Disable wifi and have no issues watching video on Verizon 4G LTE or 5G. I have an unlocked S23 Ultra.
