so, in my infinite wisdom, i used adb backup to copy system and non-system apps' .apks and settings hoping that i'd be able to restore them to my Pixel 2 running RP1A.201005.004.A1. wishful thinking, right? i so wish i had used Helium or something, but i didn't.
question, more out of can-this-even-be-done than please-help. given Titanium Backup hasn't been updated in a while and adb doesn't seem to work, is there any way---app, method, miracle---than can restore the backup to my Pixel 2 or an Oppo F17. i will take root, non-root, any other answers, and i WILL buy you beer if you can find me a way. just wondering how deprecated does Google mean when they say, "ADB Backup is deprecated."
