Will Custom Roms & Kernels Developed For the OP 6 Be Fully Compatible W/ The OP 6T ?

Will custom roms & kernels developed for the OP 6 be fully compatible with the OP 6T (when it arrives towards the end of the year) ?

Bro, the 6 just launched and isn't even available in hand for consumers till like next week.
If they do the same stuff like the 3 & 3T, 5 and 5T, you would assume there may be cross-device development so long as it's the same SoC, which would likely be the case.

But like, why even ask about the 6T at this moment?

I won't be able to afford the OP 6 until September and I guess the OP 6T will launch in October. If most Devs get the OP 6, I assume then they won't get the 6T, therefore I'd rather get the OP 6.

Edit:

Unless of course custom roms and kernels were fully compatible between the two , then I'd wait one month until October to get the 6T
