Will netflix work if I unroot but still keep the bootloader unlocked?

I have no idea how to relock the bootloader, but am about to flash the stock firmware. Will netflix be able to work even though I have an unlocked bootloader, or does it only check for root? Thanks!

See, I would do that. But I'm only on CM 12.1 which is 5.1.1. And for Iron ROM you need a marshmallow bootloader, which I don't have, and couldn't find online. Also, does it have the video stuttering issue that some ROM's have?

no stuttering in netflix or size issues in youtube, its the reason I keep coming back to this rom, as videos are the primary use of the device.

Your device doesn't have a locked bootloader.
The bootloaders are posted on this forum or just flash the MM firmware.
