Question is in the topic. Ive been thinking about picking up the DNA but I heard their might be a DNA+. That might be kind of a wait. My question is does the unlocked One support Verizon frequencies?

Verizon uses 700MHz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands)

I don't think any of the HTC One models have that (http://www.anandtech.com/show/6747/htc-one-review/15)
They do for LTE, but I think the phone cannot make calls on LTE alone. Not sure if I am correct here or not.
EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_frequencies
I guess voice is over 850 / 1900, so yes, unlocked is technically compatible I think... since it does CDMA for sprint... maybe???
HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz - GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz - LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)*

In any case, Verizon doesn't use SIMs, and I doubt you could get them to activate it on their network.

You wish ... move to a GSM carrier and ditch the crappy CDMA Verizon/Sprint.

Verizon is CDMA. Unlocked phones are GSM. Also, just because the frequencies might be similar, they're two completely different protocols.

Short answer, as someone who used to work at Verizon and just knows a lot about this stuff: No. Verizon will only activate phones that they sell you. And SIM cards on Verizon are only used for LTE, not for CDMA service. The unlocked One is a GSM phone.

But doesnt it feature LTE frequencies?

AT&T and Verizon's LTE frequencies may both be 700 MHz, but they're not the same 700 MHz, in a nutshell. And even if they were:

1. You'd only get data. No texting and no phone calls, which go over CDMA.

2. The above is assuming that Verizon's network infrastructure will authenticate a non-Verizon phone, which it won't, because CDMA carriers use a whitelist and only activate their own branded devices.

I hate to cross-thread post, but you seem to know your stuff... how does the Sprint model work, as it too is a CDMA network?
Coincidentally, I also worked for Sprint. But everything I've said is pretty much common knowledge. It's the same as the Verizon as far as I know. Only difference, which I picked up from reviews, is that it uses an actual SIM instead of an embedded SIM like all other Sprint phones. But again, that's only for LTE purposes.

Now, a Verizon HTC One will most likely work on AT&T (since Verizon phones aren't allowed to be locked, as part of an FCC agreement in exchange for being allowed to use the 700 MHz band of LTE spectrum). But Sprint usually has manufacturers block out US-based SIM cards, even if the device is unlocked. This was the case with the iPhone 4S, 5, and all other Sprint SIM-capable devices.

TL;DR: Sprint is the same.

...but I'm saying there exists a Sprint HTC One, and Sprint is a CDMA network, so can't that technically work on VZW?
(if VZW would be willing to activate it in their system, which they most likely would never do)

Nope.

Verizon to Verizon, Sprint to Sprint, unless they each release their own developer editions (which Verizon has done for the S3).

If Verizon were willing to activate it, sure it would run on their network. However LTE wouldn't work because Sprint phones do 1900 Mhz LTE. For what it's worth, I have seen Sprint phones flashed onto PagePlus, which is a Verizon based prepaid carrier.
