I just bought a 1GB/8GB/2,100 TrueSmart, which will not detect any MicroSIM though it's been inserted the correct way as shown within the manual. It is mechanically accepted by the slot as mentioned with that soft click. All other positions won't lead to this proper position inside the slot. Though it's obviously seated correctly, the icon on the status bar won't lose its red x-mark. SIM settings are always greyed out, it seems to make no difference whether a SIM is inserted or not. Android is not able to recognize the SIM being inserted. The SIM also has been programmed with the correct IMEI number.
I am willing to pay someone via paypal if you can help me get this up and running with t mobile.
