Hi i tried to flash the wimax through fastboot and got the below error

command: fastboot flash radio ./wimax.zip
sending 'wimax' ....ok
writing 'wimax' ...Failed (remote: image update error)

Why? Is this newer or something? Has anyone actually lost their wimax keys?

I'm just confused as to what this is and why I'd want to flash it.

well besides the fact that you tried to fastboot flash the .zip file instead of the .img file, there is no reason for this.

im really hoping its a newer wimax radio that actually lets me connect to 4g (especially inside)...im in NYC and have been extremely disappointed in wimax here....i really never even use 4g because i find it so bad....i can use it outside but it def eats up battery so its kinda useless to me if I cant use it inside while its charging....

to be honest im hoping for an updated radio in general...even 3g has been kinda slow lately, again especially when im inside (not sure if cm7 has anything to do with varying/slower 3g speeds..)
