hello i was trying to do it but it gives me this error after second part

then after i press 1 its transfers but after the transfering files it gives me another error again

my device is lumia 520 and up to date to lastest version of denim i did everything on the first post but still same result and my bootloader are unlocked


after that it update itself and problems are solved

I cannot get this installer to work. I'm on Windows 10.
I extracted the .wim to it's own folder using 7zip, I then run W10M_Installer.exe as an administrator.
I type in Lumia63X into the device text box (my device is the 635.)
Click start; it says "are you sure you want to start upgrade process? Press OK to start!"
So I press OK and nothing happens. It doesn't try to detect the device, nothing.

Probably a bit late, but if its any help to anyone, make sure the folder is on your C drive. I originally had it on my E drive, and got exactly like you experienced. Just starting an update and hopefully will have win10 within a couple of hours.

Am I gona lose my installed application and data if I instal wp10 by this program on my Lumia 630?
Is phone reset necessary after installation windows 10?

I had the same error at first. I did a factory reset and then everything went smooth.

As far as I understand it, yes you loose all data stored locally on the device.

I did it and it worked! Great, this is so awesom. But I got a big problem now. Most of the apps in the app store show the message
"This app is not compatible with your device"

Is there any way around it. Would be super helpful.

Thanks for your answer. What do you think, would changing the registry entries help, as suggested in some WM10 upgrade articles, like:

Thing is, I am facing issues with keyboard. Unable to type anything. Tried removing keyboard and keeping on English US. But no avail, cant even connect to wifi because of that.

I found out that the we are running TH2 (10586) Version of Windows 10 Mobile and that that might be the reason for the app-problem. Is there a way to update to e.g. Anniversary Update (14393) or further? The over the air update function of my device says I run the latest update.

Try doing it several times. I think I did it twice or three times: Delete all keyboards except US, reboot, delete all languages except US, reboot. Sometimes settings get reverted back to original language (I don't know why). Just do it again.

Yes, there is. Do the registry modify method.
Download Interop Tools and find a guide on changing the device info registry values to Lumia 950XL ones. Sorry, I don't have a Windows Phone anymore, my Lumia's eMMC chip got blown.

after dome research i discovred the is running on windows 8.0 (not 8.1)
im tried to update to 8.1 but all the server are down and no support for lumia devices

Hello everyone!
Today I am publishing my second program!
It's called...

Windows 10 Mobile Installer!!!
Version 1.0!!!

It's easy to use!
It will be constantly updated via this forum!
It comes as .wim package
Extract it and you will find another .wim package
Extract it too and you will find a folder called W10M_Installer !
WARNING! COPY THE FOLDER W10M_Installer TO THE C: DRIVE!!! OTHERWISE THE PROGRAM WILL FAIL TO FIND THE PACKAGES!!!!!

Now after copying the folder to the C: Drive, open it
Open the W10M_Installer.exe as administrator!
Click "List of devices"
Find your model in there
for ex. I have an Lumia 925
so I should write the following package name in the text field:
Lumia920T,925T,928,1020 - DON'T WORRY!! IF THERE IS A (T) THERE IT MEANS THAT IT'S ALSO COMPATIBLE
WITH THE T VERSION!!!
After that click START
Firstly it will detect your device
Then it will prompt - "If you see your device, click 1, if not, reconnect your device and press 2"
If you press 2 it will retry to detect your device
Once it detects you should press 1
and it will start updating!

WARNING! YOUR DEVICE FIRMWARE VERSION SHOULD BE 8.10.14219 OR LATER OTHERWISE THE PROGRAM WILL FAIL TO INSTALL THE UPGRADE!

After finishing the upgrade, it will prompt you
"If the upgrade succeed and now your phone is running Windows 10 Mobile then press 1, if not make sure you are running Lumia Denim (8.10.14219 or later) or upgrade to Lumia Denim and press 2 to restart the upgrade! "

If the upgrade succeeds and you press 1, it will install IME packages, as the update packages have broken IME!
(Bug from Win10 Mobile Update offline package V4.1)
If you see an error, don't worry it's all normal!
Press any key to exit
And delete all keyboards from your Lumia, except English (US)!
Now install Interop Tools and modify the registry to update to a later version of Windows 10 Mobile!
After upgrade the IME error will be fixed!
