Just one kind of traditional P.R things M$ & HTC done in the past.
Since the first Win CE PDA to current Windows Phones, there are always some super hero who have access to new products, new OS, software stack... and cook everything for people ... at the right time ;-)

Look like everything going to not well , thread close, and please no more comment about this

The above is a quote from the first of tom condon's post.

The thread is now closed - it may be due to the increasingly negative/flame war nature of the thread though, because:

i will close this thread and open again at right times

Tom

Kinda got our hopes up didn't he?! But, I'm still gonna remain optimistic :)

Given what I've read about Windows Mobile 7, (or whatever it's called) not having copy & paste functionality am I the only one here thinking that WinMo 6.5 does what I need it to do and I'm quite happy sticking with it?

Very strange

This seems very strange. It is way to early for a WP7 port (if any will ever come) and we all know how easy it is to show a remote desktop on the phone running the WP7 emulator. Surely the HD2 has the 'power' to make it happen.

Personaly, I don't think this is real.

2 thoughts about this "Everything not going to well" could mean.
1. could be causing problems with the HD2
2. MS have steeped in and threaten with lawsuit or closing down of htcpedia.

After all this is their property

Indeed, both of those could be true. The conspiracy theorists among us might also say that it was never going right in the first place (i.e. hoax)? Although, from what I've read tom seems quite reputable?

I suppose it does look bad, to Microsoft, if a site admin posts this sort of thing - rather than a regular member and perhaps, they would have the case to get the site shut down. Though I'm not sure about the legalities of such a situation?

Actually they are reportedly talking about implementing it after all the protests.

Yeah they said copy and paste is coming after hearing all the rave about it not having it. They just want to figure out a great way to implement it which isn't a bad thing.
