That was I said about brick the device and why I asked whether works.

Already possible: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10/windows-10-mobile/guide-deploying-astoria-packages-t3214481With root access, is it possible to install the Astoria runtime on new builds of W10M which don't have it installed?
It seems it doesn't work on latest build.
THE KING IS BACK!!! LONG LIVE THE KING!!!... , and just in case my appreciation is not clear enough, thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!...I am proud to announce the immediate availability of Windows Phone Internals 1.0. This tool allows you to unlock the bootloader of selected Lumia Windows Phone models. After unlocking the bootloader, you can enable Root Access on the phone or create and flash Custom ROM's. I created two video's to demonstrate the features of the tool.
Root Access allows you to load your own homebrew software onto the phone with high privileges. Apps can escape from their sandboxes. The tool can also create backup-images of the phone and access the file-system in Mass Storage mode. The tool supports most versions of Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile. For a complete list of supported phones and Operating Systems have a look at the Getting Started section of the tool.
The download package also contains an SDK, which helps you to easily access the filesystem and registry on the phone from your own homebrew app.
The tool, SDK and video's are available on my new website:
www.wpinternals.net
I will add more details in this thread soon.
Be careful and have fun!

My GPT already destroyed on 520... and also destroyed SBL too, Stucked in LumiaBootMgr.. Still unable to get into Emergency Mode. I tried all several ways.. :/Bootloader was actually unlocked, and the thing I tried was destroying GPT to get into emergency mode, not clearing EFIESP, but solved it
There is *ONLY ONE* Engg ROM for Lumia 820 (RM-825) *in Public*Anyone found an Engineering Rom for 1320 yet?
Did you even read the instructions in the app?Has anyone tried using Lumia 820 Engineering SBL3 on a device with different CPU eg Lumia 625??. I would try but I can't download from megaz
We will just have to wait for a fix on the no sound issue after unlock then. I'd rather not take the riskDid you even read the instructions in the app?
Doing that would most probably brick your device in a way that you won't be able to fix it without a jtag box, however if you actually still want to try that I can provide a mirror for the 820 Engineering ffu but you can not hold me, the developer of his tool or anyone else except yourself responsible when you do brick your device as everything you do to your devices is on your own risk and I do not know how it is in your country but here where I am service centers that can do jtag repairs will charge so much that it would be cheaper buying a new Microsoft Lumia low/mid device.
From where did you get these and are you sure they are the right files (wouldn't like seeing people bricking their devices and I am not sure those sizes are right) and if they are actual SBL3's are you sure they are Engineering ones? Here are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020
Can ya dig and Lumia Emergency Flash Loaders too for it? Lumia 810 rm-878 I can't find (RKS 72A4975C8AACF87FF1AB5F7D6F7B7A9BE90B995EC177E9CC1F ED76CE5C7BA822).Here are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020
OMG, well done!!!. How did you manage to get these files. Tried it out on my Lumia 625 and it worked !!!. Thanks bro, however, still no sound after enabling root accessHere are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020
Currently i have all the resources i need to continue research. But thanks for your offer. So @Heathcliff74 is there anything the community and Lumia owners can do to help you broaden device support. Like using some tool you make, to scan our phones to help you understand the partition structures/chipsets/drivers?
