Windows Phone Internals - Unlock bootloader, enable Root Access, create Custom ROM

My GPT already destroyed on 520... and also destroyed SBL too, Stucked in LumiaBootMgr.. Still unable to get into Emergency Mode. I tried all several ways.. :/

BootMgr is part of UEFI. If UEFI is still alive in the phone, you should also be able to flash. Try this:

- Start Windows Phone Internals tool
- Go to the "Flash" section
- Connect phone
- Press and hold Power and VolDown-buttons for at least 10 seconds to restart the phone.

If Windows Phone Internals detects the phone, it will try to force the phone in Flash-mode. From there on you can flash stock ROM or start unlock procedure.

Here are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020

This is great!

This means that all these models can have Mass Storage mode now. And it will also enable you to use Windows Phone Internals to make full backups and enable Root Access directly on the phones!!

The audio-problem is in every model, every SBL3, every OS version. I found the cause of the problem, but it is not easy to fix. I'm working on it.

On the 625 nothing seems wrong with the audio as long as you don't enable root access.

Having no root access takes away one of the reasons for this program being developed so that doesn't really help unfortunately.

What i meant was: it is related to Root Access, not to any model, SBL3 or OS version.

It has a different bootloader architecture. Some of my hacks work others don't. So i need new hacks for these bootloaders. And it is really difficult to find hacks and implement them. Although the Windows Phone Internals tool now has good foundation, so adding new hacks should be easier now, once i found them.

If only they would allow ROM modifications like Android, these Phones would be so much more interesting

So basically I can use the 520 sbl3 for Lumia 525? (same Chipset SOC)

Yes, works on my 521. I can't root due to not having a supported FFU, but file access is great. First thing I did was replace the hosts file.
