BootMgr is part of UEFI. If UEFI is still alive in the phone, you should also be able to flash. Try this:

- Start Windows Phone Internals tool
- Go to the "Flash" section
- Connect phone
- Press and hold Power and VolDown-buttons for at least 10 seconds to restart the phone.

If Windows Phone Internals detects the phone, it will try to force the phone in Flash-mode. From there on you can flash stock ROM or start unlock procedure.

When Flashing FFU WPInternal tool freezes.
Official thor2 stuck at "Failed to send Header Data".

Since Secured boot is OFF then add this two little test entries.
May be sometimes will help these entries as preventing our device not get into brick.

So basically I can use the 520 sbl3 for Lumia 525? (same Chipset SOC)

Here are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020

Edit 02: I have flashed my L625 which is on W10M (586.11) using a WP8.1 FFU (the last update I have performed with WP8.1), using the SBL3 provided by AndoidXsK, for now Mass Storage is accessible, but no sound thru.
Edit 03: Please note that in W10M updates are always automatic.

It seems to me that either you have faulty phone memory or you are having issue with drivers / usb cable.

what do you mean by no sound? although many people complained about it but i still can't get it though. No media sound or ringtone or alarm sound?

No media sound

That means that when you root your phone you suddenly stop having any kinda sound in your phone. I notice i have no sound when i enter in YouTube, if you unroot your phone you'll have sound back. <3

...i just interop unlocked my phone again..i have done this bcz of sound issue in root unlock...though i tried so many times..finally i got this..all i have to do is just unlock bootloader of my phone with sbl3 partition.then in mass storage mode i get software.reg file from that then i modified the file with capabilities.then put the file again in my mass storage then resetted my phone and it works ... i will write a tutorial on this. soon..

No sound, no ringtones, no mp3 playing, unrooted and everything came back at normal.

In case you don't have proper sbl3 your PC will became stuck and you will be hardly even moving a cursor from time to time, then you will not be able to turn the PC off.
If that is the case, you have a bad sbl3 (it's official one not engineering one).
Otherwise, you have probably problems with the drivers.

Microsoft has just released the official windows 10 ROM for a android device (Xiaomi Mi4 LTE). Will it help? Do you want to check it out? just got the rom, I can uploaded to One drive. but sorry I don't have the phone.

It uses a BDS mode, and has a UEFI menu.
