Windows Phone Internals 1.1 released

This is my Xmas-present for you! Version 1.1 has a fix for the audio-issue when Root Access is enabled and it supports Root Access on the latest Windows 10 Mobile build 10.0.10586.36. You can find the new version of the tool in the Download section on wpinternals.net

It seems there were extra integrity checks for playing media. I fixed this for audio-playback. I will create a generic fix later, but this will work for now. If you already have Root Access and you experience the Audio-issue, just "Enable Root Access" again on the phone.

Hopefully somebody can help me out. I'm looking for the mms settings in w10m. One of the mms settings isn't available under edit mms apn as I'm sure is already known. I was hoping latest version would fix this issue but it didn't. In I think Windows mobile 6.5 I had a similar issue. Editing the registry directly fixed the problem. I have a Lumia 1520 which isn't supported yet by this awesome tool to allow me to browse and possibly dump registry hives. I am able edit registry but need to know the key.
What I'm asking for is somebody running w10m to dump registry, then add a random mms apn, then dump registry again immediately following. Then upload them and pm me a link. Using windiff I should be able to find the keys needed. This is exactly what I did on wm6.5 to get it working.
Another option would be to add a connection profile for h2o wireless that would be chosen in place of the standard ATT profile under sim settings. I don't think I'll be able to do that until the 1520 is supported with this tool though.

I only have some of these models. Personally I like the 920. But I have no experience with 1020 and 1320.

If you have better understanding about the WPInternal you can manually unlock 1520.
I saw many guy's unlocked their 1520 with/without WPInternal and flashed Custom ROM's

I have experimented that loop when try boot unlock. I'm thinking it is due to sbl3 file. Lumia 620.

Ex: Someone in win8.1 only unlocked bootlader , can flash lastes build of win 10 customized and full unlocked with out any probelm or he/she has to first used the legal mehtod of insider to update to the same build??

Here are engineering SBL3s for quite a few models that WPInternals currently supports
Precisely, the 520, 620, 625, 810, 820, 822, 920, 925 and the 1020

Don't work on my L620, so no.
@Heathcliff74, a little question. Due to I'm not able to enable mass storage on my L620 because There is not SLB3 Eng file, Is it possible to create a backup from my phone enabling full fs access via root xap tools?

@Heathcliff74, my post wasn't about to "criticising" your work and method, of course not! I'm absolutely sure, it's a great job and perfect basis for the future platform research.
But I tried to look into this from the practical side: it's definitely will be good to have ability to run apps with elevated privileges on WM10 platform - to apply some tweaks, get rid from some cell providers greediness (meaning internet sharing) etc. and so on.

As for the "safe" methods, AFAIR most previously known "interop" hacks are safe and many of 'em survived the OS updates. Your "jailbreak" is a different kind; sorry for these words but it looks like a bridge to the "hell" of the custom ROMs (with huge limitations 'cause we have no sources of the OS and must use buggy MS bits!), bricked phones, crying newbies and so on (I'm kidding so pls take it easy).

Hope, someone will find another "lightweight" hack just for "interop" unlock using your "full jailbreak" for the released WM10 soon!

Using my SDK it should really be quite easy to develop an app similar to WP7 Root Tools, which applies Interop Unlock and a policy editor for apps, based on different methods of capability unlock. Currently I want to focus on unlocking the new Lumia's. I also have plans to work on an unlock app, but I don't have enough time to work on both. And that's why I released the SDK. I hope other developers / hackers will work on that.

Custom ROM's and updatability will always be an issue. When you are running a Custom ROM, it is probably best to update only by manually sending cab-files. Especially in the early stages, it will all be a bit experimental.

I suspect you still have the wrong ROM flashed. After a full flash with the correct ROM all drivers should always be working correctly.

In mass storage mode you can replace drivers, because the OS isn't loaded at that moment.
