Cut the rope works fine via the browser cuttherope.ie just change settings to touch to cut rope instead of swipe
Cut the Rope via IE9 is just a 3 level demo. I beat that in a night. The full game has a lot of levels. My wife has an iPhoney and I have seen the levels on the full game.

Isn't this that thread?
Sort of. This is a thread to put a list together of apps you want to see.

I was looking for a thread where you put in the app you want and a link to the site to request the app, then everyone put in a request for the app. SO, we get 100's of people requesting an app. If one person requests it, it's one thing but, if you get 300 people...it's something they might look at.

Another one...

Dish Online, (Dish Network's sling box app, they have it for the iphone and Android).....This would be huge for me...

neither one of those have any relevance since the things you download with adownloader would need an app to play them and MX player would not work since Windows Phone supports only certain codecs.
I'm well aware of the current limitations of WP, thanks. The title of this thread is "most wanted app list", hence my post and wants.

I'd also like a good YT downloader. TubeMate on Android is fantastic because it allows you to select the quality of the YT video.

Some apps i used all the time and found them essential in my ipad were:

Dropbox, Pocket (former read it later), pulse, AutocadWS, nba.tv (international league pass) and maybe Photoshop express and some other i dont remember now.

Dropbox: seems they didnt want to release an official app for wp7. there are some good 3rd party options in the marketplace (pocket files for dropbox one of them), but since skydrive arguably became a better service since the last update and i have 25Gb, i made the switch and never looked back... Goodbye Dropbox, i was tired of waiting for you... Not Missing Dropbox

Pulse: There's one in the maketplace but its seriously lacking against ios version. laggy and somewhat basic features... i appreciate the effort in launching a wp7, but i kind of like its layout more in bigger screens (tablets) than smartphones. i may give it another try later... Weave its better imho, fast and i like its ui better for smartphones (lacks read it later support though, only instapaper)... Not missing Pulse

Pocket (read it later): they said they're looking into wp7, but idk... The best 3rd party client out there i believe to be "Read it at 7". its pretty good, but its not the real thing, articles are not perfectly formated as in the official pocket ios app... I do miss Pocket (RiL)

AutocadWS: nothing to say here... they said they may look into wp7 (i doubt it), and no 3rd party option in the market... I do miss AutocadWS

nba.tv: The gametime nba app just updated to support league pass, but for the US only. i have an international suscription and there's no option to use it in my phone. Android and iOS have nba.tv (international) apps... I miss badly an NBA.TV app

Photoshop express and others would be nice and all, but not really needed for me... i rather wp7 supported html5 streaming video, not just Youtube. in the ipad i could see almost any video out there in safari. In IE only youtube.

The updated Sky Drive integration that happened a few weeks ago makes the need for dropbox a thing of the past. Have you updated yet and installed the PC client?

I have... And you're right, dropbox its not needed anymore... SkyDrive on the desktop its working as good as dropbox. Syncing my desk-laptop-wp7 nicely...

I want many of the apps listed already, but I also want some local ones for me in Norway, iOS and Android has apps to buy train/bus tickets electronically.. and they also have apps to manage their bank accounts and other things with the Norwegian banks. I am hoping for those apps, like DNB and Trafikanten or NSB (the train schedule and ticket buying app).

When that is said, I would love to have Nike+ GPS app on my phone, but since that has only been released on iPod's and iPhones since it came out.. I am not so sure it will ever be released for the rest of us.. not even for Android.

Lazy Microsoft

This is so annoying already, those guys at microsoft got so much money they could invest in putting those damn apps into the marketplace. I mean i know the developement for wp7/8 is dfferent although wp8 i smuch easier to handle! What is wrong with microsoft windows phones are not treated as smartphones, theyre treated like crap. My god basic apps like instagram or temple run (temple run 2 is out!) are not even in the marketplace and the facebook app lacks speed for windows phone 7! I dont get this it makes me wanna switch to android although i hate this OS but they always deliver their promises!

Apps I would like to see in the marketplace:

Instagram (after almos 2 years), temple run (more than one year), Voxer

Dude!
You realize MicroSoft has no control over the applications right?
They don't control which apps get ported over or not, thats up to the developer of the original application. If you truly want to see these apps on WP then its simple. Explain to your friends/family/colleagues that windows phone is a MUCH better phone and that soon the "one" eco system will be an absolute dream to work/play in and eventually the app developers will see people buying the phones and start porting for them.
MicroSoft is pouring money into development and into marketing their phones, the rest is up to the consumer.

The best operating system is nothing without the big boy apps, its not for the consumer to push the developers, if this was true we will be waiting for years for our favorite apps, Microsoft has to court the developers, make them buy into the product, believe in its future.

It is still their job to convince the developers to join their ecosystem and therefore to develop apps for them!
