Thank you for your tools, and I want integrate office 13 rt updates into wim file, but I can't download these updates from microsoft website, could you sent me downloadable links of these updates? Thanks a lot!

Hi, was wondering if anyone knows why WIndows Store stops working with error 0x80004005. The store also stops working with the same error after using Windows Update on stock Windows 8.1.

I haven't used 8.1 much recently but on the times that I have I have noticed store has been intermittent at best for the past month or so.
Sorry about the delay on this, I haven't had an 8.1 install for a few weeks. I never found a way to add these via with the update kit, setupcomplete.cmd and similar methods won't work on OEM copies of Windows.
Windows RT 8.1 IR5 used by the update kit already has Office 2013 RT SP1, the post IR5 updates are below:

I find a way to update office 2013 rt but not via dism.
unzip these cab files to get several msp files.
I create a script bat file that will be ran manually after deploy image on tablet.
command line:
"for %%i in (*.msp) do start /wait %%i /quiet /norestart"
And it will update office 2013 rt automatically without user answering and restart.
I have test and it worked well.

Yes, I download the image directly from microsoft, unzip it and copy it to a usb memory formatted in fat32 and even then it does not start from memory, it just reboots. You will know what I can do, thank you.
I would check that your USB drive is properly formatted and possibly even try another USB drive. It might be worth using diskpart to clear your USB drive and staring from the beginning.
Run diskpart as admin and then use the commands below, be careful when you do this and pay attention to the disk your are wiping.

list disk
select disk (Insert number of your USB drive using the list produced by previous command)
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=fat32 quick
assign
exitAfter this is complete extract the contents of the Microsoft recovery zip file to the USB drive and try booting it again.

Hello, i have complete all the process, it was like 50 minutes, but when i was about to create the iso image, it get an error, do you have any idea how to fix it? And where is it gonna appear the iso image in case it’s created correctly?

Now the process is totally completed, but i have a question, i use rufus to make my usb bootable, and it’s supposed that the iso image have been already created, but i don’t know where is it located to add it to my bootable usb.
Or should i do other thing to install windows 8.1 in my surface rt in the recovery mode.

Thanks for the screenshots, that issue will be fixed with the next release. For the moment though you just need to rename the 4GB file to an ISO if you really want one or just copy the contents of the folder to a FAT32 USB drive.

@jwa4: i also "found" another one of these, one that has the original AT&T LTE image on it, so that hopefully will have the stuff to restore LTE mode.2
An export of the drivers from a fully updated VivoTab RT that is running RT 8.1 (I only have an 8.0 recovery) would be very helpful, from what I've read elsewhere the recovery images are interchangeable between models but I don't have one to test it with. A fully copy of an RT 8.1 recovery for the device would also be great.
To export the drivers you should be able to do this if the device is reasonably up to date:
and zip the contents of "C:\Driver_Export".Code:dism /online /export-driver /destination:C:\Driver_Export
If the version of DISM on the device is out of date you could run the attached copy.

- Added three additional update modes (None, Service Stack Only & Service Stack and Update 3 Only).
- Added warning for languages that do not currently support App updates.
- Added warning if an unmodified IR5 image is going to be created.
- Removed Start Menu Update Discoverability notification if Update 3 is installed and Start Menu is enabled by default.
During testing I found that trying to update provisioned apps in Windows RT 8.1 IR5 for Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Russia and Slovakia results in the following error:
I will try to find what causes this but for the moment these will be excluded from attempting app updates.
At this time I don't think there is going to be a solution for adding updates for Office 2013 RT offline.
