1. This is likely due to an issue with Global UTF-8. I'm working on a complete workaround for these issues that I will share with you all tomorrow. Please stay tuned for that
2. If ads aren't appearing maybe don't use the adblocker. If not needed, the adblocker will take some resources that it really doesn't need to. Maybe try disabling the adblocker and just wait and see if the ads begin appearing and if so enable the adblocker.
3. WallChanger was built for an older version of Android. Because of this it really doesn't function properly as the methods it uses aren't simply available in Android anymore, or if they are they require the app to request permissions. Until something more modern comes along I suggest downloading 4k images and setting those as the wallpaper (it shouldn't look as pixelated).
Right, I think I understand the way WallChanger works. Let me explain.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I think it works. First off, it asks what wallpaper you want to set as the lock screen wallpaper. Next, it waits for a broadcast from the system regarding the screen off, then it sets the home wallpaper as the wallpaper you chose in the app, this is why the home screen wallpaper is the same as the lock screen. Basically, if you change the home screen wallpaper while the device is off, Android will set the home screen wallpaper as the lock screen wallpaper. This is why you are seeing the normal FireOS lock screen wallpapers for a brief second before it shows your custom one. Because it received the broadcast a little later than usual. Again, I could be wrong.

Morning.
I had the fire HD 8 2018 yesterday and as soon as I could connect it on pc I start using this toolbox. but I have two questions:
1. When I enter the "modify system setting" menu I have this:
SCREENSHOT
can I solve this problem?
2. I've bought this tablet from werehouse deals, it said that it was with lockcreen ads. but I've never seen it. I've installed the amazon ads remover, but I don't know if it was necessary....
3. when I launch wallchanger (i've enabled amazon photos and docs), when I crop the image, the wallpaper is at really low res (the jpg wallpaper is a 9mb size image)...how can I solve this?
oh and another strange thing...when I light up the lockscreen for an instant I can see the random lockscreen than the wallchanged one.
thanks a lot
