Phone is hard bricked. The thread you specified refers to phones in working condition.

Yes I use W11, I found a copy with exe but still doesnt work for me. I can now get to recovery using commands but when I select wipe phone just reboots. Have you seen this issue before?

Also when I try fastboot erase userdata, this is what I get

Erasing 'cache' FAILED (remote: 'Erase is not allowed on locked devices')

No this is something new to me.

Without unlocked bootloader this will not work. By the way I'm not recommending you to unlock bootloader.

I dont think I can either way. Looks like I now own a brick. Anyone ever try side loading image, or no image available?

Ill take anything I can get, new image will also reset it. It may frp lock on me but anything is better than the current situation to see if I can get it going again

It boots fine just cant reset, either by command or button combo. Its pattern locked

Trying to enter recovery mode following these steps but after booting to fastbootd the commands just hangs with < waiting for any device > and can't enter recovery menu. from fastbootd I can only restart the phone or restart into bootloader. Please verify you have adb drivers installed. Or download and install from here

I had adb drivers installed and still wasn't able to connect

Yes, my partner forgot the pin code although we do know the linked google account. we also do not care about the data as right now it's unusable... so far I had no luck trying to get it to recovery mode

Please keep in mind that even resetting the phone through recovery will not remove the associated Google account from the device. You need to reset FRP.

That's fine, we do have access to the account but not to the login pin and there is no way to reset it from the google account
