Hi All
I have tried to fix this issue, but could not proceed an inch. I have gone through the registry settings on Hermes, Kaiser, Wizard, and BlueAngel (which I currently own) and compared those against Shift. Except few keys and missing Microphone AGC setting in control panel, most of them are either same or little different. This is regarding the Audio input. Most of the keys that are different are not enable/disable type. I have not seen any key that would mute the Microphone on Shift. I recreated those keys in the Shift, no luck. I compared the dlls and exes in the OEM and SYS folders of these ROMs and compared them with Shift's but no luck.

Before proceeding furhter, I just would like to know if the Mic was working in the original SnapVue. I don't remember, but if anyone who has not modified their ROM and are still on Factory ROM can confirm this, I would be more happy and can really focus my light in one direction instead of looking around.
Thanks
Ram

One think for sure is that the vista side take hold of the wav driver. Once it get it, it belong to vista, even if wimo can still use it. Try to stop it once vista got it's pawn on it, and you lock the sound driver.

Thnx thaihugo for your excelent hard work.i just want to add one thing and m sorry if m wrong that in my view we sholud leave this wired headset mic problm and give full attention to bluetooth hack bcz it will alow us to use a wireless headset which will solve the mic problm too.
