Have you tried multiple times? Sometimes I find it really tricky because I'm already pressing volume down in order to force reboot.
When already connected to your PC, hold vol - and power button in order to force the reboot, and as soon as the screen goes off press only vol -. It should work in this way.

Em what I confirmed is after laf killed, volume up will definitely bring the phone into fastboot.

Unplug your USB cable, turn your phone off and wait 15 seconds. Hold volume down (-) and keep it down while you insert the cable.
Doesn't work for me but I solved the problem with another way. Thank you kindly.

It is G710AWM and yes unofficial unlocked. Anyway I finally got the 6th update and do you feel a little laggy while swiping and app switching? It didn't happen before.

well feels fine to me
Well maybe it's temporary... And another problem, I lost almost all the sensors after a reboot such as auto-rotate auto-brightness proximity and so on. Is there anyway to recover?

Edit: Solved. I still don't know why it happened but reflashing boot.img can bring them back.
Edit2: I found sth strange. When I lost the sensors everything smooth, but when they back, lag back.
Edit3: Well everything OK except double-tap-to-wake...

What steps ned to be done to upgrade to new lineage Version when an earlier Version (may) from this rom already installed? Just reboot into recovery and flash zip of new rom plus gapps?

Use steps illustrated by J0SH1X at post #80, but instead of "use whatever TWRP in this thread" use only the latest, before (flash it in bootloader) flashing LOS and before flashing GApps/Magisk

Hi, just to be sure.
When the device is on EU pie, the step are:

- unlock bootloader
- flash the last boot_twrp file
> fastboot flash boot_a boot_twrp.img & fastboot flash boot_b boot_twrp.img

- erase all of the data with twrp (type yes)
- flash lineage os, gapps and magisk
- Reboot

And that's all or I forget something?

Hello, may I ask a question that I found after booted, lineage os will take a longer time than stock LG OS to mount the sdcard(formatted as FAT32). What causes that? Thank you very much.

After flashing LOS you have to reboot to bootloader and flash TWRP again, boot into TWRP, and flash GApps. If the version you're flashing doesn't support TWRP (like last version) you have to flash boot.img in fastboot again (you can patch it with Magisk Manager if you want root), while if it supports recovery you can simply flash Magisk just after GApps and then reboot to system.

1) for me, I had to reboot recovery to install gapps
2) after everything is done, as I understand and did as well, you have to flash original boot img, not boot_twrp, then reboot. After that, I patched the original boot img with magisk and reflashed it again to get root.

Thank you for your answer.
But to install magisk on the original boot.img I need to install Apk and patch?

And the boot.img that I need to download is the lasted on date? I mean from June?

That is the way I did it, yes. With magisk manager, you will be able to patch boot img, so after flashing it again via fastboot, you will be rooted.

Did you wipe your data partition before flashing ROM?
