Could you help me? Which drivers do i need for Windows 8.1? How push update.zip to internal phone sd? I am desperate.

I had the phone battery is drained even helped connect the charger but helped to connect to PC via USB. After a moment the LED flashes red and the next moment loaded PC ADB. Then I had to charge the phone to full capacity and did factory settings copied the rom and flash .. everything is perfectly fine : Prsty, zkřížené:

Hello guys, I am having some touch & ram issues.

1. Sometimes touch n hold option does not work, It takes as double tap. After a boot works perfectly until next boot.

2. Phone's RAM usage is also high. After a boot free Ram is about 900-1000 MB, but after 2 days usage it goes down to 300-400 MB. That time some of my background running apps closes automatically (may be due to less avail ram).

Hi Guys! Im from the Philippines. I have Mi3 bought from SG last June 2014. Last Tuesday, the phone suddenly had a problem when I wake up in the morning.
ROM version 23 (stable), Rooted.

Problems below:

Processes/app that stop during standy (Phone On, no apps running)

android.process.acore
settings
com.google.process.gapps
music
google play services
launcher

When opening Camera, error is flagged "can't connect to camera"

Messaging app stops (default messaging app)

When trying to restore factory default (erase all app, data, etc) phone resets but apps/data
are still there.

Can't erase any data in the phone.

Can't put data to phone (example: Picture from pc to phone). When I tried to copy data to
phone, window pop-up saying the device was disconnected or stopped working.

I can read/copy any data from the phone. (example: copy picture from phone to PC)

Tried to go to mi-recovery and tried the ff:

Wipe cache - ok
Wipe used data - failed
Wipe all data - ok - but when the phone restarted, data is still there.
Wipe sd card - ok

I can't flash rom to phone via recovery since I dont have update.zip on my phone.

Again, when the phone restarted, data is still there and the problem is there.

Tried to flash phone via fastboot using MiFlash 2014.05.09, the results are below:

ROM version: cancro_images_KXDCNBF24.0_4.4_cn_1fbb634ef8 and cancro_images_JXDCNBD14.0_4.3_bb5096bfd9

Using flash_all_except_data_storage.bat
- operation completed. but when phone restarted, the problem and data are still there.

Using flash_all.bat
- operation stopped with Unspecified error0x8000405: FAILED (remote: failed to erase partition)


Additional info:

I still can make calls in my phone. FM radio is working. Music player is working.

Question:

What's next? anything I can do to fix this?

can i connect an external Hard Disk through OTG cable and is it going to cause any problem ??

Try using total commander file manager + usb stick plugin free......some people says it works....previously worked like a charm on my moto g without root with 1TB seagate goflex hdd....i couldnot make it work with my mi3 though.....for root try using stick mount

so it's realy a 8274AB? cause xiaomishop.com says 8974AB all over the place.
asked them via email and as question under the phone section. got no replay... yeah okay so got my replays but my email marked them in spam. so the cpu is MSM8274ab and the xiaomi mi3 doesn't use GORILLA GLASS. don't know what it use but no gorilla glass XD
so to get it straight there is only the 4g differnce. i mean. GPU on this one is clocked 520mhz? or not. it its a 8274ab v1/v2 ? i know little differnce but 100mhz in gpu makes some differnce in hardcore games.

I double-checked even triple-checked the address in MiFlash tool. It is correct.

The point to be noted here is that the error message is seeking the file "flash_all_except_storage.bat" in the Images folder in the decompressed ROM Directory. Is there any such file in the Images folder? I could not find it in the Images folder when I decompressed the ROM.

I received the same error. I checked if there is any file like "flash_all_except_storage.bat" in the "cancro_images_KXDCNBF24.0_4.4_cn" folder. It was there. Then I copied the "cancro_images_KXDCNBF24.0_4.4_cn" folder to the root of D: drive. I tried again, It was success. You can also try this. If this is not helping you, try another USB port.

In my case "cancro_images_KXDCNBF24.0_4.4_cn" is the folder which contained images folder and other .bat and .sh files required for flashing the images.

Please be more specific about :
1)Which ROM you were updating to and what is your current ROM ?
2)Post a link from where you followed the instructions.
You can update your MIUI ROM from the recovery "Install from zip yo System One" OR from the 'Updater' App and selecting the update package.

Guys, I have MIUI5 build 16. I cannot find a root method for this build. The usual method of CWM followed by Super SU install does not work since SU gives an error saying "no SU binary found". I cannot download v34 since it is 600mb. Can anyone help me?
