Since the scripts have been included in the latest roms what commands do you use in terminal to wipe battery stats? Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't run the script in 2.7.1 yet but in the previous sc versions that included it I didn't have any error messages.

I did notice in another thread that others trying to wipe battery stats in 2.7.1 are having error messages too.

With 2.7.1, you can wipe battery stats in CWM's advanced menu, it does and will wipe the stats out.

Shut down the phone through power menu, plug-in charger, waiting for full green 100% battery charged indicator then power-on back into recovery advanced menu to wipe the stats.

In my understanding, it'll wipe whenever you tell it to, but it's only useful if you do it when the battery is fully charged.

Seems wiping battery stats is a fairly mild adjustment. There is drastically worse battery life on 2.2 based ROMS when gps or wifi on. Wiping battery stats is helpless when confronting this bigger issue.

I'm confused, when wiping battery stats is it better to do it after the battery is fully drained or after it is fully charged? In the thread --[ROM][12.21.12][SC 2.8 End of the World Edition]2.6.32 Voodoo and Nonvoodoo -- on page 219, mgrimmenator says that this should be done after the battery has depleted, but here you are saying that this should be done after fully charging. Thanks for any clarification.

It actually matter not when you wipe, the battery eventually get calibrated at the end, the difference is the amount of time to achieve calibrated status. You can use the post you mentioned on page 219, simply just add 5 more extra hours for the job.

Thanks for the clarification. So the extra 5 hours is to wait for the phone to recharge?

When you're depleted and wipe the stat, the default calibration table automatically get loaded, the battery will charge to the "default full" from the calibration table then generate a new calibration table for next cycle, so on so forth...

When you're at "full", whatever that "full" level may be (been defaulted before and had already passed defaulted), it's used as the starting point to generate the next calibration table for next cycle without having go go to "default full" first...
