No wireless charger has 100% efficiency, if 15w goes in you'll get much less than that out. To get 15w output you'll need above 20w input.
Nobody cares how much is lost on the process.

We are talking about what's the phone maximum supported wattage for wireless charging so we can get a 3rd party charger that just works as fast as the samsung one. Now I know that I have to look for a 15w charger on amazon :)

Unfortunately there aren't many good options right now. To get 15 watts with USB, it needs to be 3.1/Type-C to Type-C, which doesn't seem to exist yet for a wireless charger. There are a couple with proprietary wall plugs.

If the new Samsung one isn't 15, it's definitely not worth the price...

I wouldn't bother buying one without a charger in the box. Most of my wireless chargers don't even have USB but this circular power connector instead (I don't know what it is called)

For a wired charger I would go for a USB Power Delivery Charger but we don't know if they are compatible with the phone yet

If I leave the phone all night on a wireless charger, does it will charge all night ? Does the charger charge even if the phone is full ?
It will keep your phone at 100%. I use wireless charging frequently, and it's super handy- moreso on a desk. I still plug in at night, just to be sure that I don't accidentally bump it and have it fall off of the charger.

Here are a couple deals on official Samsung fast charge stand:

2 for $55 on woot: http://electronics.woot.com/offers/samsung-fast-charge-wireless-stand-2pk-1?ref=el_cnt_wp_4_18

1 for $30 from dailysteals: https://www.dailysteals.com/product...less-qi-charging-stand-with-fast-wall-adapter

Here's another option recommended by BGR. Not "fast", but looks cool, and it's cheap:
http://bgr.com/2017/04/12/wireless-charger-for-galaxy-s8-amazon-sale/

Think I may pick up the official one for $30, but gonna check out some of the recommendations in this thread tomorrow before I pull the trigger.

I'm using the Samsung fast charging stand that I used with my S7 Edge for my S8. It works great fast charging my S8. How much faster can that new wireless charger be to justify the price? This is typical of Samsung and Apple, overcharge for accessories at the release of a new device. Those chargers will probably be selling at half that price in a few months after they are finished gouging their customers.

Noob question -- can I charge my S8 on landscape with the OEM Wireless Fast Chargers?
Yes you can if you are referring to the original Samsung wireless fast charging stand.

While the price was still pretty high. I was actually able to get them for $70 each from T-Mobile

This is the reason I got the official Samsung one. It has a fan to keep the phone cool, haven't noticed any heat from it.
