Wireless Charging broken after going back to stock

Good morning all.

I have added wireless charging capabilities to the back plate of my LG G3. Charging wireless has been great on the phone. I switched over to CM11 for about a week to check out how stable the ROM is on our G3. I am aware that currently custom ROM's aren't configured to support wireless charging correctly, at least on the Official CM11 Nightlies anyways. So I went back to cable charging while I had CM11 installed.

Now the fun part. I decided to switch back to a nandroid I made of the stock ROM on my G3, which did not have any issues with wireless charging before I had installed CM11. Unfortunately, after performing a nandroid, my G3 still demonstrates wireless charging similar to CM11, i.e. does not charge worth a damn. I performed a full wipe on my phone, including data, cache, system, and dalvik cache, before restoring my nandroid. I'm at a loss as to why I would be experiencing the same wireless charging problems with a nandroid that worked perfectly before I had flashed a different ROM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Extra Info:
Original ROM was rooted. I did not flash a custom kernel.
I installed Invisiblek's Official CM11 Nighty 11/30 ROM.

I thought I read somewhere the wireless charging issue was in the kernel, but I'm not sure stock would even boot on an aosp kernel. Not my area of expertise. Check your about phone and see if everything looks stock.

I find that strange it would give you trouble after a complete wipe and restore, although I am new to the LG phones and havent done a whole lot with it yet, I have always been an HTC guy, maybe try returning to stock with the LG flash tool, re-root etc and see if it fixes it, I am curious because I just ordered my wireless charging pad and didnt get to try it yet.

I took a look at the kernel. It was stock. I went ahead and flashed dragon's custom kernel. I'm gonna leave it on the charger again tonight. Hopefully your advice hits the mark.

That will be my next plan of action if the custom kernel doesn't pull through tonight. Thanks for the input, I had no idea there was a tool to bring our phone back to stock.
