Wireless charging fault?

I received delivery of my Edge Plus today and generally pretty happy with it. However when I put it on a wireless charger I've noticed that the charging symbol appears but it doesn't seem to charge. Anyone experienced similar?

Mine charges fine on the wireless charger... but have a separate issue where my Edge+ lags like absolute crazy when it's charging. To a point where I cannot even close an app from the app switcher or easily swipe between my home screens. The second you take it off the charger, it works fine.

No problem with wireless charging. I use the Choetech wireless charger (5 coil) and it works like a dream. No overheating and due to its size, no worrying about trying to find the sweet spot.
