It plugs into the usb slot but that in itself can be a pain. If you find yourself needing to use a normal usb charger you must first remove any case, then remove the back cover and then remove the charging coil and then reassemble it.

I might look into hooking into the other side of the usb socket when I get time, though I suspect it will probably involve disassembly and soldering something permanently in place.
Aaaaaah

Hi NGbod, have you tried to use your nfc with the coil installed?
I recently ordered the coil on ebay. How long have you waited for it?
Thanks a lot

The nfc was desensitized a lot by fitting the coil. Nfc now only responds to the bottom 1/4 of phone and can be very hit or miss. This is with the cover on though, I havent tried it without the cover. Main thing is it still works.
Delivery was quicker than usual, only two weeks to uk.

I just received my second Qi charging base, this one for use in the car.
I have adapted my windscreen phone mount so the Qi automatically starts charging when the phone is inserted.
So far it is working well the Qi is passing the charge through the thickness of the mount and phone case without problems. It still charges the phone at about 10% an hour when TomTom is running with high screen brightness.

Kit arrived today! by first impressions looks good ... closes a little fatigue the back cover but otherwise I'm satisfied. Now, however, the text for good .. :good:

Guys, be sure to buy "TYPE A" not type B when buying the coil for the s4 mini.

Hi,

I just tried this item:
(Edit: Not allowed to post outside links yet, ebay number is 261286543080)

Unfortunately, NFC stops working completely. I tried it with an NFC test button and I could not get a signal any more.

The reason might be that the item covers the battery, which has NFC included, to nearly 100%...

If there is a way to get a combination of wireless charging and NFC working, please let me know.

It's hard to use them both at the same time. just remove the charging coil before using NFC.
It isn't a problem for me since I never used NFC cause none of my friends/family have NFC/compatible phone.

Hi everyone! :)

Could anyone help me with offering a reliable seller on ebay from whom I could buy an also qualitative wireless charger pad and a receiver as well? :)
I'm thinking about them:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Coils-Qi-...S_Cell_Phone_PDA_Chargers&hash=item4179bd52c5
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Non-slip-Wi...=LH_DefaultDomain_15&var=&hash=item5d439564d4
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Q...l_Phone_PDA_Chargers&var=&hash=item3cd871bdf7

Are these (all of them) compatible with my galaxy s4 mini (I9195)? :)
Thanks for your answers :)

That's better. 2 in 1.
