WM6 German (T-Mobile)

For those who asked for it: Wm6 German for Hermes

Step 1: Safe your settings for GPRS / UMTS and MMS, backup your data because you will have to erase everything (except storage card)! (http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/index.php...ask=view&id=38&Itemid=26&limit=1&limitstart=1)

Step 2: Update your bootloader to Hard-SLP:

Step 3: Update your Radio (not necessary but for me it decreases missed calls and gives me stronger signals)

Step 4: Install WM6
Get this file ftp://xdaupload:[email protected]/Hermes/WM6gerTmobModifiedRUUUpdater-V2.rar - unrar and use ROMUpgradeUt.exe to flash your new WM6 german. If needed, you will find more information about the flasher here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_CustomRUU

Done - you should have now a working WM6 german on your device. Reconfigure your GPRS/MMS Settings (if Austrian T-Mobile, check theese files:

I installed everything like this and WM6 works perfectly... much better than WM5 because a lot of annoying bugs have been fixed!

damnit... there is a german rom on ppc-welt? didnt see it, so i cooked my own using all information out of this form here...
i am using this build now for 2 days and am stunned by the improvements to wm5!

the ROM on ppc-welt is an relative old ROM but very stable!

hmmm.... I have no idea because i installed a lot of tools since installation :-D

Included in the rom should be:
VoiceCommand 6
Office Mobile
SAP
Streaming Media
Windows Live
all standard stuff from wm6


... so basically nothing spectacular. I didnt add anything manually to the rom except the t-mobile german oem stuff, because i always want to install everything myself to have a light device :-D

So far i tested everything and the box is completely stable... all well-known problems from WM5 are fixed. TomTom is running fast from storage card, connectivity is great.

yeah... that´s right!
i have faria´s megalight ROM with german VoiceCommand (for me goes not under german WM6?!) and RescoExplorer, Finopocket and any nice Apps
But without VoiceoverIP, and Java Midlet etc.
