Wmp playing while standby

Dear friends, just sharing what I discovered today. I have found many posts ASKING about how to make any audio player working with set on standby mode. Maybe some of u know but for those who don't here is what I found today.
If u want to play music while set is in standby (screen off) :-

1- play WMP
2- press start
3- goto today
4- press power button, so that screen goes off thus set is in stanby

Thats all - WMP is still playing, Good ???

Heh, no buddy, that doesn't mean anything. There are a bunch of registry settings that should be there. In all my new roms, this is taken care of. Other thing is that the headset should be plugged into the phone to make this happen

Do you know something funny? After you go to standby with the headphone connected and then remove the headphone, it continues to play . Seen it with AudioManager, dont know about wmp.
@mehra: It really depends on your particular device, there are a lot in which it doesn't work without reg tweak even when the headphone is attached, like mine, until as krazy said, you do the tweaking.
