Won't turn on wifi !!! Wifi drivers/files deleted !!!

Hi,

I accidentally deleted " system / etc / wifi / " and "data / misc / wifi " files.
Could anyone with P601 send a zip or winrar of these all files inside " system / etc / wifi / " and "data / misc / wifi " files please. I cant turn on wifi :/

Note: Device is rooted 4.4.2 tab s beta rom xluco kernel

I don't have a P601, I have a P600 but if you give me the link to the rom you are using I can create a flashable zip for you to fill the missing files :good:

Hi,

Whilst I can create a flashable zip the best solution would be to re flash the rom because system / etc / wifi can be done but data / misc / wifi contains information that is created when the rom is flashed like Serial Numbers and WiFi networks you've connected to. So if you just do a clean flash and install the rom that would be the best solution :good:

Thanks for the advice.I thought this too but, actually i dont want to loose all these customized settings, apps and all others systems that i have been using for a long time.
However this choise will be the last one if i cant done with this file replacements.So i want to try this and appreciate if you send these system / etc / wifi and data / misc / wifi.
Still nothing to lose : )

I don't think you understand what I mean:

system / etc / wifi I will create for you

data / misc / wifi

Is not in the rom file and cannot be transferred from user to user. Unless you have a backup of the folder you cannot restore this. This folder contains device information such as my serial number etc. It is automatically generated when you flash a rom

Ohh i see now. A quick question then: is there any way to reisntall the same rom without losing all these settings and apps, and without clean cache,dalvik case etc.. ? I mean what happens if i just reinstall the same rom without doing nothing else ?

You will have to wipe cache and dalvik but you shouldn't loose any data but in any case make sure to take a backup if something goes wrong :good:

I did wipe cache and dalvik then install the rom again and all well now Nothing is changed and deleted. My wifi folders are came back. Thanks a lot man :good:
