Well, it looks like I've shorted out my camera when I replaced the digitiser. Can't see any obvious issues with connections when I've re-opened my phone so, well, I guess I've killed the camera.
Hi, just want to ask is there any difference between the so called OEM digitizer and the stock? Thanks.Ok most of you guys know but some don't so im gonna tell you, if you break your digitizer and replace it and you dont get the right one your device will have a nasty lag everytime you press the power button to wake it up!
UPDATE!!!: APPARENTLY IF YOU UPDATE TO SOFTWARE VERSION (BUILD NUMBER) 1.50.401.1. KERNEL VERSION 2.6.35.13-g1e13373 (Sep 5 2011) YOUR DIGITIZER *SHOULD* WORK
im saying should cause we need further testing on this
the point of this thread is work as a guide for you on to which digitizer you should buy in order for your sensation to work well after the replacement
first off to know which digitizer youve got, im sorry, but youll have to disassemble your device and check these numbers:
![]()
and make sure you ask or check with whoever you are buying the digitizer that it HAS THE SAME EXACT LETTERS AND NUMBERS!
ok so here are the versions of the digitizers (it doesnt matter if your sensation is from t-mobile, bell, telus, z710a or z710e you can have either one)
first off is this one:
PYD V1.0
E21945 1
ICACichia
94V-0 1115
which is probably the most common
you can find it on ebay by this sellers:
no.1-tech in china (http://myworld.ebay.com/no.1-tech/?_trksid=p4340.l2559)
and they supply to ask-tronics, in the US (http://myworld.ebay.com/ask_tronics/?_trksid=p4340.l2559)
we also have:
PYD V1.0
E219454<>1
ruICACichia
94V-0 1112
very similar to the first one but it wont work if its not the exact same one remember that!
you can find it on ebay by seller yallstock, in singapore (http://myworld.ebay.com/yallstock/&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2754)
theres also:
pyd v1.0
sw-10 94v-0
ew08252 1111
dont have any sellers yet if you find one please report it on this thread
and theres also:
PYD V1.0
SW-10 94V-0
E308252.1117
dont have any sellers for this one also report if you find any
remember you can find these digitizers either with the htc logo at the top-center or it can also be t-mobile branded, and it can either one of the above so it doesnt really matter which one you buy as long as it matches the version!
ALSO BEFORE BUYING BE SURE TO ASK THE SELLER IF HE HAS WHATEVER VERSION YOU NEED EVEN IF ITS LISTED ON THIS THREAD
most info on this has been taken from this thread:

+1!Hey guy, I am planning to buy a digitizer and is worry about the quality of the glass from ebay. Can anyone here tell me any difference between the one sold over ebay and the stock?
Hi, just want to ask is there any difference between the so called OEM digitizer and the stock? Thanks.
theyre probably the same, some put the as stock some as OEM which stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer+1!
Anyone?
well it has to be VERY well done if you dont want to void your warranty, but if you still have warranty why dont you take it for warranty repair anyways? Can the digitizer be separated from the display without dismantling the phone for the porpous of cleaning the dust ?? I am not trying to change anything just separate , clean then put back together without voiding my warranty .. is it doable ??
US$ 200,00? OUCH!In Malaysia, it cost $200++ to get it fixed but the funny thing is even the people at the center couldn't tell why after had my phone replaced with a new stock digitizer, the touch screen stop functioning!I think they should come over here and equip themselves with more mobile phone knowledge.
Thank you for answering . The main reason I was asking is that T-Mobile do not fix the phone under warranty , they exchange it with a refurbished one . Ny phone is in a very good condition and the only problem it has is the dust .. while God only knows what condition the phone I will be getting .. and the fact that I have to move everything from this phone to the New one . We will see how that goes cause I will be getting the replacement phone tomorrow .. wish me luck .well it has to be VERY well done if you dont want to void your warranty, but if you still have warranty why dont you take it for warranty repair anyways?
i saw a guide to clean dust under the screen a while ago without dismantling the phone all you have to do is pry the digitizer from the vessel but you have to be careful below where the capacitive buttons are and also above cause thats where the flex cable is, then u need to get some 3m tape to put it back on

Hi,is this unresponsive digitizer issue still present with ICS firmware?
I Just want to make sure before ordering a new digitizer for mine.
I can't disassemble my sensation to check the model at this time due to the lack of tools at this moment.
Where did you get that Digitizer? Can you provide a link?I've replaced the digitzer on my Sensation, and can sadly say my phone is not very well...
There is a definite lag on the screen, I cannot use part of the very left of the screen either and trying to clean up the Rosie desktop is virtually impossible as I cannot hold an icon long enough to remove....
Running Android 4.0.3 with Sense 4.0 (OrDroid 2.0.1)
Contemplating asking a phone shop to see if they can track down an exact model Digitizer, however they will charge me over £100 to fix....
