so I received the 1.0.0.1001 (1001) beta for the edge browser.
installed ok, logged in ok & all my favourites & reading list are showing from my win10 machine. wicked.
early days but it might be a bit sluggish but then I've only just installed & my NP has been on for a fortnight so might benefit from a reboot. oh, naturally you'll be needing a mouse & keyboard.
