Thanks for your answer, appreciated. The LMC 8.4
I'm using different XML from @JavaSabr , updating everytime there was a new version.
You can read in the picture name which version I used
Thanks for your answer, appreciated.
But which version of LMC 8.4 are you using ? I saw "ruler" and "scan3d" variants. But following the tutorial, I installed the "aweme" version.
Which one are you guys recommend to me ?
And yes, I'm also using v48 sharp from Javasabr
Thanks
The package you use has no influence on the quality of the pictures. Only the XML will matter. You can use any of these 3 versions to have different ports at the same time. For example I use ruler for lmc, scan3d for AGC and aweme for Sgcam. If you use the actual Samsung ruler then you'd have to settle for one of the other 2 packages. EtcThanks for your answer, appreciated.

I just installed it but can you please tell me what to do after that ?
Ok, so I understand LMC 8.4 R15 and SGCAM are different ?The package you use has no influence on the quality of the pictures. Only the XML will matter. since you are using the shamim mod, is there a reason you are not using the latest 8.7 version and have you tried the hasli lmc to see if the configs work the same on both?
My bad, I'm not using this version. Now I can't find what I'm usingsince you are using the shamim mod, is there a reason you are not using the latest 8.7 version and have you tried the hasli lmc to see if the configs work the same on both?
Yes, you have different devs doing different ports of GCAM (SGCAM, LMC, AGC, etc.) and then you have those that create configs for each port.Ok, so I understand LMC 8.4 R15 and SGCAM are different ?
I asked Fl1nt91 and first told me that he's using LMC 8.4 but then send me the name of the SGCAM... I'm new to all of this and I feel lost now.
If someone can make a step by step, it would be greatly appreciated!
And congratulations to all the modders for their job !
I had tried loading Saber's LMC 8.4 config on SGCAM 8.4 and it crashes. Guessing it wouldn't work with 8.7 either. I'm not sure what value 8.7 brings over 8.4 but since 8.4 is at v45, it's most likely more stable than 8.7 v4. From what the devs have said, 8.8 will be a good version to update to eventually as google has made some things easier for devs to create ports and we should see some extra value out of that one.since you are using the shamim mod, is there a reason you are not using the latest 8.7 version and have you tried the hasli lmc to see if the configs work the same on both?
Thanks a lot for your complete answer !Yes, you have different devs doing different ports of GCAM (SGCAM, LMC, AGC, etc.) and then you have those that create configs for each port.
Saber did a config for LMC which is very mature, with installation steps found here:

Working GCAM for S23 Ultra
Or where can i try and experiment some version? I haven't dealt with gcam in the last years, so I'm bit out dated EDIT: I RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THIS POST TO INSTALL PROPER GCAM Post in thread 'Working GCAM for S23 Ultra'...forum.xda-developers.com
Surfer has done a config for AGC which is also very mature and can be found here:

They're both good, using good GCAM ports. Try both and see which you prefer. They output slightly different styles of pictures though globally, especially if you don't zoom in, they will look very similar. Up to you to decide which one fits your needs.
There's no other official Sgcam config that I'm aware of, and in my opinion both lmc and AGC will give you better resultsThanks a lot for your complete answer !
I just installed SGCAM, and using their built-in XML "S23ULTRAN".
Does anyone of you knows the best XML config for SGCAM ?
Thanks
Actually the very first post is about Sgcam and the matteo lib. Which actually works and was the very first working config. It's easier for us that have been there from the start to keep up with the 47 pages of conversation. Can't blame someone coming in to start by following the instructions of the first post!I'm completely confused. Now you are talking about SGCam ? , it's not LMC or AGC. And I think no, the config files for LMC are not working on SGCam. ? Because it's different versions of GCams. Right?
Its the result from the question from vincanity6820, but with respect, he could have read some posts before in this thread and no questions like this.
I dont get it - a dark, blurry, out of focus photo from a 200mp camera on a month old device in broad daylight is impressive ? Its appalling, it looks like a bad pic from a 10 year old phone, the other photos are good tho.
That was a very long rent, mostly unrelated to gcam. It's fine if you feel none of the work here has value to you. There are many options, including stock. I'm not going to take time to say why I thought it was a good pic from a 10x lens. Hopefully you didn't sell your old phone and can go back to it and comment on that phones xda thread instead.I dont get it - a dark, blurry, out of focus photo from a 200mp camera on a month old device in broad daylight is impressive ? Strange that both ACG and LMC behave that way but MCG does not.Hi, it is possible, but a real pain to implement because of the 'ID lens logic' used for this specific mode. It would also be quite clunky and would make the app instantly crash if this special lens ID (used by Photosphere) is activated in normal photo mode. I also never use Photosphere, so I have more than limited interest adding it...
Anyway, here is a custom profile ONLY to be used for Photosphere mode. As soon as you will load it, app will crash, so you will have to long-press the app icon and start it in video mode, then load this custom photosphere profile, then start Photosphere mode. Clunky, but at least it seems Photosphere can start normally. Not sure about the results though.
Yes, you're completely right. That's why you're asking someone else to figure it out. Have a great day. lol
Dude, I think you should see a psychologist. If I'm already a software developer, why would I need this forum? When someone does this, I'll put it in your eyes here. then i will say you lolllllllllllllllYes, you're completely right. That's why you're asking someone else to figure it out. Have a great day. lol
I believe the New south Wales font you've mentioned is because that its actually out of focus in the raw file since the aperture is really big on main lens, that gcam didnt know how to properly sharpen it since its not optimize for this camera at all.I see more detail with the stock software to be honest. Example: the New south Wales is easier to make out on the license plate on the vehicle in front of the Bimmer.
The BMW logo on the center cap is also clearer with stock software.
