here is the new version of my tweak file based on Javasabr v42 base.
It is completely changed from 1.1, all cameras have been updated, pro mode now works well in low light and can be used in place of hdr++.

**While this is fork on Java 42, it will not work with Java's files.**

This is for s23u (ultra only).

The LMC app can be found here. Use either the scan3d, ruler, or aweme version.
Immediately the app opens after granting permissions tap the video button then double tap the space between the selfie button and the shutter and select my config.
You need to be very fast before the app closes, it may take a few tries.

There are 2 choices for installing.
Either create a folder on the root drive named LMC8.4 and put my config file inside or just use the included folder and then install my config.
Do not place my config inside Java's folder ...your phone will explode ....ok well it won't explode but you will not get the intended results and will likely look completely messed up.
I also recommend clearing the cash and data to avoid any issues or conflicts from previous versions. If anything looks funny then this would be the first troubleshooting step.
If you have multiple LMC configurations you can rename the others so you can switch back and forth as long as ...and it bears repeating ...only use my confing file in a clean folder.

My suggestions are also:
Never use night mode.
Never use AWB.
Zoom and ultra-wide will not work well in low light so i don't recommend using them unless inn good light, but if you must then turn on pro mode.

You will notice I removed most of the on-screen buttons becasue they are mostly uselsss or I have them configured to my preference, but feel free to change whatever you like although I don't recommend it if you don't know what you are doing.

Some things may not work as intended, you can let me know.

Big thanks to JavaSabr.
Thank you. But don't understand. Have a folder LMC8.4 with the files + libs from Java.
To load your config it must be in this Folder, ? didn't find another way.
You don't have changed Libs it seems, you changed only the XML .So in the end I have to delete all files from Java ? No way to give your configuration another Folder Name to store and load your config ?

you don't have to delete anything

just rename java's folder to something like 'LMC8.4 java' and the place my folder on the drive, then (optionally) clear cache and data, and then just open the app and select my config.
If you want to switch back rename my folder to LMC8.4 tmz and rename the other back to LMC8.4.

you can go back and forth between the two, it's a couple of extra steps because they both need a folder called LMC8.4, so just rename one of them and then you can easily switch to the other config.

you don't have to clear cache and data, i just recommend doing it once in a while if swithching back and forth

that's why i said it cannot be in the same folder as java's files ....just rename whichever one you are switching from

* i updated the original post to explain this better.

Java's (not yet released) xml for LMC 1x digitally zoomed to about 35mm to go against my Canon R6 35mm out of camera JPG. Funny or sad (I haven't decided), LMC is more color accurate! Of course in real life, I'd have used the raw from my r6... But still!

But why that extra step? As @woffu22 pointed out, it is just a XML change (as I can see in your zip). So there should be no need to rename folder and doing all that things, just load settings from the import menu and that's it.

because my file does not use Java's included model files etc, so it will cause a conflict.
you are free to try whatever you like, i have only tested my config in a clean folder so i believe you will get odd results

But I have downloaded Java's newest config and it is as well only XML. That means, that this is config overlay over default one. I cannot see any additional files there. Am I missing something?

newer than version 50? ... i just downloaded it and it includes extra files

ie it uses third party libraries or modules which would conflict

maybe Java can explain better than me

Comparison Java +Expo button vs Tmzbeme.
Pics are very equal. Difference is Javas has a brown tint, TMZ more green. The white house opposite is in reality not brown, so TMZ seems to be a little bit more realistic.
It's crops from pics.

Which setting you think must be enabled for the most accurate low light shots ?

A lot of settings between HDR+ and HDR++
Expo compensation
Pro mode
AWB toggle

For information, LMC 8.4 R15 and Java's latest xml

Thanks !

I'd say just use hdr++ and force a slower shutter speed like 0.5s or 1s (quick shortcut for it: long press the picture circle at bottom right) . Just don't forget to put shutter back to automatic after your night shots :)

Quick example:

Hdr+

Hdr++

Hdr++ forced to 0.5s exposure

Well, back home, I checked on my computer: difference is so visible, yes v9 is having something.
    See below, L17 v6 vs v9 sharp (S23).

Returned to v6 because v9 result is weird.
    Was fixed in v11

@JavaSabr is it possible to release a third config option? One that has a little more sharpness applied. Thanks! :)
It's already presented in my last test release in my TG group, when the release well be stable, I will post it here

Some sample from my recent trip.

Probably is not the best photo quality on the market, but using the Gcam overall I'm very satisfied of the incredibile versatility.
Plus the device is all around the best you can find.

I did many test gcam 12mpx vs stock 50mpx and 200mpx, and i can say that most of the time high res stock is useless. Details are similar or even better with gcam at 12mpx.
