Some possible reasons include
Notably lower shutter and post processing lag under equivalent settings (number of frames, HDR+, etc). Not sure why that is. LMC is improving but it has been sluggish from day 1
The color rendition of LMC is improving with every rev, especially with v52, but still will occasionally produce weird results.
The AWB function of LMC does not work well (last time I tested it circa v50). This is particularly troublesome for shots of people under artificial light where skin colors can be off by a lot.
I have been unable to get the horizon guide to appear in LMC. I often shoot very close to the ground or in a weird posture and this helps me.
The QR code reader does not work on any gcam version I have tried
I have been unable to get a histogram to display on any version of gcam.
While you have posted clear examples of artifacts in areas of fine details attempts to reproduce them under similar conditions by others have been unsuccessful.
The mods require that all gcam discussion be in a single thread so you can expect posts about other configs to continue.
I personally still go back and forth between stock and at least 3 gcam configs. Image aesthetic varies widely between people.

Was HDR + only.
Awesome, except one, the Dollar Tree photo, there I like stock better, better light control (in the store) and more natural looking asphalt... imo
thanks, yes in daylight my colors are very close to stock, in low light where stock tends more towards cool mine verge to warm ...and i havn't yet quite been able to figure out the slight green tinge in extreme low light although i also do see it a bit in stock shots, probably something to do with the white balance in low light, although with awb on it just turns everything to either snow white at night or red in daytime.
This shot with stock the church was a little whiter shade. (i deleted the stock so can't post the comparison) ...(standard hdr+ again ....i only use hdr++ in rare circumstances to balance out the light in night shots, plus the green tinge is more evident with hdr++)
This is a photo I took this week in a restaurant, the 2 yellow windows in the top represent exactly what my eyes saw, I had both LMC and AGC Gcam versions on my phone and with both versions the windows were blown out (white) no matter what I tried, HDR+ or HDR+ Enhanced, it didn't matter, no Gcam could capture it correctly.
I deleted the photos unfortunately but you get the point I guess
Detail on the Gcam versions was better though, but with backlighted items the stock cam is still the best, as in more control.

I have question regarding RAWs from gcam. I use LMC and when I load RAW to lightroom tint has to be all way to the magenta (+150) and yet sometimes picture is still too greenish. Problem is only with the main lens. Any ideas what to change to make it better?
Best gcam is lmc v52 and v53 till now. Tested all version. These are best

Some action shots from today, using what I think will be v54 of Java's config, switching everything to merge 1 for better performance when there is motion in the picture.
It's a different way gcam merges frames together. Wait for v54 as v53 settings are not optimized for it

Changes log v33:
1. Disable AWB.
2. Update nose models.
3. Update sharp configuration for 0.6x and 1x cameras.
4. Update noise reduction configuration for 0.6x and 10x cameras.
5. Increase max shot time for hdr++ to have better results in low light.

1. Changed HDR models for all lenses to have a better experience when you want to work with RAW
2. Updated sharp configuration to have more clear photos.
3. Updated noise reduction configuration to have good noise balance for low-light shots.

12Some sample from my recent trip.
Probably is not the best photo quality on the market, but using the Gcam overall I'm very satisfied of the incredibile versatility.
Plus the device is all around the best you can find.
I did many test gcam 12mpx vs stock 50mpx and 200mpx, and i can say that most of the time high res stock is useless. Details are similar or even better with gcam at 12mpx.
